Before you board
When does the river season run?
Sightseeing trips usually run from late April to October, depending on weather and water levels. Charters can be arranged outside the season on request.
What happens during an air-raid alert?
Vessels follow safety procedures: the trip is paused and passengers are guided to shelter. Trips that cannot continue are rescheduled or refunded.
Can I bring children?
Yes. Children travel with an adult, and life jackets in children's sizes are on board.
Do you ship from Ukrainian ports?
We arrange sea freight through available routes and ports. Ask us for the current options for your cargo.

EVANSTON TOV ("Evanston", "we") provides passenger river transport, sea freight, cargo handling, transport support, courier delivery, trade agency, consulting, legal and accounting services. This policy explains how we handle personal data under the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" and the GDPR.

2. Passengers
Name, phone and booking details. For charters, a passenger list may be required by safety rules. We do not keep passenger lists after the trip except where required by law or to deal with an incident.
3. Freight and courier customers
Shipper and consignee contacts, addresses, cargo descriptions and transport documents shared with carriers, ports and customs.
4. Legal and accounting clients
Documents provided for legal and accounting work are confidential and accessible only to the staff assigned to the case. They are kept for the periods required by law and professional rules.
5. Purposes and grounds
Performance of contracts, legal obligations (transport, customs, tax), legitimate interests (safety, claims).
6. International transfers
For sea freight, data on transport documents is shared with shipping lines and agents abroad, using appropriate safeguards.
7. Recipients
Shipping lines, port operators, customs brokers, couriers, payment providers, authorities where required. We do not sell personal data.
8. Retention
- Bookings: 1 year.
- Transport and customs documents: as required by law.
- Legal and accounting files: as required by law and professional rules.
9. Your rights
You may access, correct and delete your data (subject to legal retention), restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy and withdraw consent. We reply within 30 days. Complaints may be addressed to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or an EU supervisory authority.
